I love this show! its funny, hillarious, and just great! Any other fands out there? All hale the mighty cornholio! fire!
My brothers and I used to watch it when it came out on MTV. It was pretty dumb but funny at the same time. *smile* I also liked the movie "Beavis and Butthead Do America". My favorite parts were where Beavis would turn into the Great Cornholio. *smile* I found a clip of that from one of the show's episodes on YouTube, and it still makes me laugh. It's also funny when people can actually talk like Beavis and Butthead. I had 2 cousins who used to play around talking like them, and there were 2 guys at TSB that used to do that also.
Ah yes. I love that show. My favorite episodes were the one where they were working at BurgerWorld and Beavis kept scratching his weener. Then there was the one where they tried to pretend to have beards by cutting hair off their heads and gluing it to their faces. Needless to say the chicks didn't buy it. Then there was one where Butt Head got stuck in that drain pipe and another where they found this big tire like from a truck or something. Butt Head put Beavis in it and pushed it down a hill. Pretty funny.
I remember those ones! classics! of course the movie was awesome though. lol!
Ain't you them two that've been whackin' off in mah tool shed? LOL. And the guy from Unsolved Mysteries.
This was a funny show when it first came out. I have heard roomers of it coming back and I find this to be a mistake. One of the things tht made it funny was back then no other cartoon was doing any of the stuff that they did. You could almost call it edgy. Now with shows like South Park I don't think it can hold up. Could this once funny show jump the shark? Only time will tell.
I haven't heard anything about that. I agree it's probably a mistake, sort of like if Spielberg decided to make a sequel to E.T.
Only time will tell if it is. I hope they are just roomers.
I kind of hope it does come back, It'll be interesting to say the least! I liked it when they sang with shair. lol! I think it'd be cool if they were back, but that's my thoughts
Ah yes. I have the Cher thing. And Butthead thought he was gonna get lucky with her like Finch did with Stifler's mom. LOL.
I think my absolute favorite B&B video thing though was when they were watching Mc 900 FT Jesus and Beavis kept singing the bassline even when Butthead kept smacking him upside the head.
yes, another classic to add to the collection. and post 10, lol! nice I remember that...(grin)
And then there was the video (I forget what it was), where Beavis told Butthead about the nightmare he had where everything sucked. So then Butthead pointed out that "But Beavis, everything does suck." Henceforth for the duration of that video scene, anytime Beavis heard the word suck there was this nightmare fanfare and he freaked. Funny stuff.
I am glad there is bevis and but head. that show has not come on for a long while. it is a good show and I hope it does containue
you mean continue? lol! I loved the one where a man was running in slow motion on fire and beavis was tripping because he couldn't say fire! lol!
I loved the show but I hope they don't bring it back unless it be in sindication. THe reason I say this is there's absolutely no guarantee the new episodes would be anything close to as good as the original. I did like the Christmas Specials though. Santa Butthead.
Besides the last I heard Mike Judge had said he'd more or less outgrown that and wanted to focus on King of the Hill. Granted with King of the Hill over he could conceivably come back to B&B but as with anything at least as far as TV goes there's only so many times you can bring it out of the closet and dust it off before it becomes riddiculous.
What I'm trying to find out is what video they were watching when Beavis told Butthead about the nightmare he had where everything sucked. That one was absolutely hillarious since he couldn't even hear the word Suck without freaking. I wanna find that one on Youtube but since I don't know what song it was I can't search it. I did find the other one I liked though, where Beavis wouldn't stop singing even when Butthead kept hitting him on the head. It was If I only had a Brain by Mc 900 FT. Jesus. Funny stuff.
lolness! yah, both of you guys are right. smile
I just wish I could figure out what video it was they were watching when Beavis told Butthead about his everything sucks nightmare. I thought it was during the episode where they thought they found oil and it turned out to be sewage. But I looked them up on Youtube and it wasn't that one. It's been driving me crazy since that was one of my favorite videos.
Well I eventually figured it out. They were watching Nightmares by Violent Fems. But the show's still funny even today. I am the Great Cornholio! And he was even deported for that.
I just wish Mike Judge hadn't caved to MTV censorship pressres whenhe released the Mike Judge collections. He cut certain key parts from certain episodes, things that actually made no sense to cut. For instance if you remember the episode Manners Suck, ther was that scene at the end where Beavis and Butthead were sitting on the toilet trying to take a dump and they were like please come out? Well apparently Judge cut that scene from the DVD release. WTF?
It is one of the stupidest shows ever... but most of TV is stupid..
Maybe so, but it's not as stupid as most of what they call TV these days. At least TV back in those days didn't make me want to wretch, at least not nearly as often.
I disagree. I think B&B is just as stupid as today's stuff.
A matter of opinion I suppose. But I think today's so-called reality TV is stupider than Beavis and Butthead could ever dream of being.
Most of tv is stupid,
I just saw a clip on youtube that beavis and butthead are in deed coming back with three new epesodes this summer.
Cool. I'm definitely intrigued...
so am i! can't wait to see what happens with it! cool!
I wanna hear them make fun of Lady Gaga. LOL.
And I certainly hope he can come up with misadventures on scale with the famous tire incident. That, for those who don't know, was when the duo discovered an abandoned tire from I believe one of thise huge farm tractors outside a mechanic's garage. They carried it to the top of a steep hill and then Butthead put Beavis inside it and rolled it down. The tire didn't stop at the bottom, resulting in massive chaos around Highland. I believe the list of incidents involved Tod spilling beer on his pants as he swerved out of the way of the tire, then the tire knocking out Mr. Van Dreson while he was doing some nature photography, a car falling on top of a guy while he was working on it and a train derailing itself as it tried to avoid the tire. Funny stuff.
omg that is funny shit! lol! hopefully more stuff and other random things, including the mighty cornholio! lol.
The almiiiiighty bungholioooooo!
Well I finally got the chance to catch a repeat of the premiere of the new B&B last night. While I'm not keen on the actual TV show clip commntaries I was pleasantly surprised. Of course that could just be because I hate Jersey Shore with a passion. But te actual episode was prett funny since the boys ended up getting sick after getting bitten LOL. THen there was the segment where Butthead caught Beavis crying. Pretty damn funny. But I'm really excited to catch Holy Cornholio!
Dude, I used to love this show back in the day..I was like 12 or 13 something like that lol..Haven't seen any of the new eps though..just haven't had time..but is it still funny? I dunno..so many years ago I thought it was awesome..I loved the movie..it rocked! Lol I said rock..haha!
Hopefully it is, haven't checked them out but will, looking forward to it!
Admittedly I'm not keen on the Jersey Shore clips they throw in in place of one of the video commentaries in each episode, but I still find the show very funny overall. Holy Cornholio, the most recent new one to air, had me sure I was gonna pee my pants from laughing. Let's just say the duo wandered into a group of extreme fundamentalist Christians whose leader had just died in the same hospital where Beavis was having his injured hand tended to after accidentally screwing an action figure into it. Well he predictably took all te medication he'd been given at once and it reawakened Cornholio. Well thse religious fundamentalists interpretted the gibberish of Cornholio as him speaking on TOngues and decided that the marks on his hand from his injury were the signs foretold in their prophecies. So they thought Cornholio was the Masaya and Butthead was another profit. Pretty funny.
I like the show and also how funny the characters are.
They make me laugh.
I can now watch it now on my apple tv which is good so that I can watch it at what ever time I want at any time of the day I wan.
